Reaching The World

We’re privileged to be part of some amazing work God is doing around the world, and we encourage you to participate in leading others to Christ.

Local Efforts

One of the greatest ministries you can have is your personal relationships in and around your community.  The local outreach efforts in Colville and surrounding communities keep members of Grace engaged in reaching out, giving back and encouraging those around us.

A few examples of outreach efforts include Wintertime Warming Huts, The Crisis Pregnancy Center, and various service projects such as CityGate to feed the homeless.

World-Wide Impacts

Grace Evangelical Free Church is active in worldwide ministry efforts.  Strategic partnerships are developed to leverage support, coordinate efforts, and achieve maximum outreach.  Our vision is always to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and build lasting relationships.

Church Planters

Through a partnership with the New Covenant Foundation, Grace has provided strong support for over 30 church planters.  Church planters receive Bible training at the Kale Heywot Church Bible School in Dilla, Ethiopia, and are equipped to spread the word and love of Christ to people in their own villages and communities unreached by the gospel.

CHE – Community Health Evangelism

The healing ministry of Jesus shines through CHE.  The Community Health Evangelism efforts train up CHE Ambassadors to reach villages and communities throughout Southern Ethiopia.  These communities are strengthened through education, self-sustainable economic development, health and wellness training and meeting basic needs.

Missionary Support

Grace provides material support to traditional missionary efforts including prison ministries, overseas missions, church planting, and training up new pastors.

Mission Trips

A highlight of Youth Ministry, Grace supports regular youth mission trips both regionally and internationally.  Previous mission trips have included evangelism trips to urban centers in the Pacific Northwest, as well as extended trips to Haiti and Peru.

Help do the Lord’s work in Ethiopia

Reaching out to Ethiopia, providing prayer and financial support through partnerships, committed to practice and producing incredible results.

What is this work?

Grace Evangelical Free Church works through partnerships to leverage efforts in Ethiopia. These partnerships depart from traditional models providing charity aid and instead focus on building sustainable economic models that reinforce cultural vitality and empowerment.

Through a partnership with the New Covenant Foundation, Grace has provided strong support for over 30 church planters.  Church planters receive two years’ Bible training at the Kale Heywot Church Bible School in Dilla, Ethiopia, and are equipped to spread the word and love of Christ to people in their own villages and communities unreached by the gospel.

Since indigenous people are spreading the word, cultural barriers are broken down and they experience long-term sustainable change in their economy, environment, and community. Together, we can reach Ethiopia with the life- changing, transforming power of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Why Ethiopia?

Ethiopia is on the front lines of humanitarian need, and the struggle for peoples’ souls.   Ethiopia has long suffered from economic challenges, famine and hunger, and political and cultural impacts prevalent in the horn of Africa.

Incredible Need

Generational poverty continues to plague this nation, but poverty takes many forms – malnutrition, poor water, lack of education and cultural practices that devalue women are prevalent through Ethiopia.  Projects that promote literacy, training, support educational infrastructure development and basic education in the areas of business, health and spiritual growth combine with those that meet physical needs to become a powerful force for change.
